As I have mentioned on my first post, there are two types of membership sites on clickbank, the ones that require a one time payment and the ones that require an ongoing monthly payment. So, in this post, I am going to show you an example of a good membership site, although I have to say that I did not join this membership site yet. I am showing you the site as an example.

Do I need this membership site?
If you are doing keyword research, then this is definitely the membership site for you. When you are choosing membership sites, you want to choose those that cater to your needs. All the better if you are really specific of what you really want. I like to use this site as an example because the target is really specific, keyword research. In fact, almost all the membership sites that I join are really specific in their approach or they target one key aspect of internet marketing. With a membership site, you will get support from fellow members via a community forum that comes with most membership sites. Trust me, you will get a lot of help from the forum community.

Why are paid monthly recurring billing membership sites good?
The answer is really simple. They are good because they are beneficial both to you and the merchant. When you pay membership fees every month, you create an incentive for the merchant to grow his existing membership site. It is always easier to secure an ongoing customer than to hunt for new ones. For most one time payment membership site, the support ends the moment you purchase the product. You are given a directory and you are now on your own. Even though there might be a forum for members to hold discussion, it is often not regulated and not as good as the ones available in recurring billing membership sites. The other is an issue of being exclusive. I am not kidding when I say that there is almost no barrier of entry at all in the internet business. Everyone can set up a website and do some link building. But if you belong to certain membership site, you get to use the tools to outdo your competitors and also learn from others who are in the same industry as you are in. But some would not get such benefits because they are not willing to pay for the service.

So, use your best judgment when you are joining any membership site on clickbank. The Keyword Country is a good example of a well managed membership site.

Of course, the answer to the first question again depends on your situation. If you already have other social bookmarking software that does the same job, you probably do not need this one. However, if you do not have the time to manually submit your website to all social bookmarking sites and you have the money to invest in your web publishing business, then the social bookmarking software is definitely for you. For me, I choose to invest in this software.

Is this software updated from time to time?
This will be a very difficult question to answer because you do not know when will the software designer starts to get lazy and be a complete dick. So far, this software receives updates but the best upgrade service has to go to Market Samurai. You pay only once but you get updates periodically. Why would software designers be a complete dick? This is because there isn’t any incentive for them to update the software for buyers who make a one time payment. Yes, they could update the old software to attract new buyers but by the second or third year, most people already have the old software and new ones are flooding the market. It is always more profitable for the software designer to create a new buzz.

Would the software help my business?
This is again a very important question. You do not want to buy software that is not related at all to your business. Say, you are doing an ebay business or buying domains. Definitely, all the things about getting traffic and building backlinks will not work for you. The bookmarking demon software is only good for web publishers like me who are hoping to get organic readers and social traffic to the website. And one quick advice when you are just starting out…do not diversify yourself too much! Stick to a plan! If you want to do ebay, go with it. Or if you want to do web publishing, stick to it! Failing to plan ahead will result in failures.

So, when you are buying software, use these three criteria to evaluate your purchase.

It is specific because it tells you how to integrate Squidoo and bum marketing in your online venture. It is unique because it is very different from all the ebooks on clickbank that merely show you how to make money by using some rehashed information on affiliate marketing and later teach you how to make money by promoting their products. Squidoo Queen is really different in the sense that you will benefit from the information provided in the book and not from selling the book. Besides, it comes with tons of bonuses and an emergency cash strategy that you will find helpful.

Are there bonuses attached to the purchase of this ebook?
Sometimes, when I buy an ebook, I do not just buy the ebook. I look at the full package that comes with the ebook itself. Some ebooks come with some really good software and other related ebooks that I had always wanted to purchase earlier. Thus, I purchase them in a bundle to lower the cost. These are some of the extra benefits I get by purchasing an ebook. Of course, this criteria is not applicable to Squidoo Queen because I bought the book for its content and information but you should always think about this point before buying.
